Export Packing: Fumigation-Free Plywood Crates

Each machine was packed in its own fumigation-free export wooden crate made of plywood (non-solid-wood packing). Because the crates contain no solid timber, they are exempt from ISPM-15 fumigation treatment, which means no fumigation certificate is required and Russian customs clearance is not delayed by phytosanitary documentation.

Additional protection measures applied before crating:

  • Moisture-proof stretch film wrapped around each machine body to protect against humidity during the ocean transit
  • Foam padding and internal bracing to prevent movement inside the crate during LCL consolidation and transshipment

Shipping Method: LCL Sea Freight to Russia

The three crates were shipped together by LCL (less than container load) sea freight. With a total machine weight of about 2.01 tonnes and a packed volume well below a full container load, LCL was the most economical option — the customer pays only for the space used, without committing to a 20ft or 40ft container.

  • Floor requirement — a level concrete floor is sufficient; no special foundation is needed for any of the three machines.
